The word "bento" originates from southern Japanese slang for "convenience." As a physiotherapist always on the move, this is exactly what Emilie Creuzieux sought. She added the prefix "mon" and frenchified the traditional Japanese box to combine efficiency, healthy food and respect for the environment. The modernised Original monbento features two containers, a removable inner separator and a new intermediary lid that makes it 100% waterproof.
