Indonesian fishing boats have a long, hardworking life: two trips to sea and back, every day of the year. The paintwork is naturally distressed by the sun and seawater, then renewed to build layers of colour. Even when the fishermen have finished with them, the tropical hardwood is tough enough for Anteak to repurpose them for a second existence. The wood is kiln-dried, sawn and joined by carpenters into fantastic furniture pieces like this chest of drawers, ready to bring a flavour of seafaring Indonesia to your home.
Made of teak and reclaimed wood. Each item is unique and has colour and wood structure variations due to the nature of the material used.
