Nearly a century ago Walter Gropius, Mies van der Rohe and Josef Albers re-wrote the rulebook on design and to this day their ideas shape our perceptions of form, colour and beauty. Designed by Josef Albers in 1926, the Nesting Table remains one of the most coveted designs of the Bauhaus movement. This iconic piece is constructed from solid oak wood and has a glass top lacquered in hues from the Pantone colour spectrum. Following the Bauhaus principles of design, the side table is highly functional, geometrically simple and utterly timeless.
Produced by Vitra. Licensed design based on original designs from the Bauhaus artist Josef Albers. Side table, size: extra large. Solid oak frame, lacquered glass on the underside in light orange-red. Other individual tables or the whole four-piece set from the Nesting Tables series can be purchased on Fab.
